Please note:   Cats and Kittens are available only to approved homes, on a first come, first served basis.  HOWEVER, we do not accept deposits or visitors until they are between 8 and 12 weeks of age.  Kittens accept visitors beginning around 8 weeks of age.  No kitten is reserved without a signed contract and a $200 non-refundable deposit.  Our pet kittens are $800 to approved homes.  They are between 12-16 weeks of age before they are old enough to go to their new homes, and have had all appropriate veterinary care for their ages.  If you are interested in more information, please send us an email so that we can provide you with our questionnaire.

Kittens:

Sorry, we have no kittens at this time.  We are very happy to have GC Cooneyisle Kuu' Clancy of Makanacoon visiting us, and expect to have kittens in mid summer if all goes according to plan.

Young adult

"Froggy"

is a beautiful silver tabby/white neutered male.   He was born January 23rd to  Mainette RosemaryCooney of Damnynke and  CH Just Cat NN's Acey Mac of Makanacoon.  He's a real cutie pie who is has been a "cat's cat" in this environment, bugging the heck out of Earl most days.  He was 12 pounds at 7 months and very much still growing.  He is quite a persistent food hound with a beautiful head, expression, extremely low maintenance coat and picture perfect pattern.  Froggie is a nearly constant companion to me as I works on the computer.  One day he'll catch that curser on the screen!

Froggie probably had a tendency to be a shy cat from the very beginning.  To compound that, he had some medical setbacks as a very young kitten.  He had a bacterial pneumonia which required that he be put in a nebulizing chamber twice a day for several weeks, and he had  series of xrays to follow his healing progress.  He made a full recovery without any scar tissue showing in his lung.  The amount of work to get him well was intensive, and we feel added to his shy temperament.  He also has a grade 1 heart murmur which has been evaluated by the board certified veterinary cardiology group who has screened our cats for us for some 10+ years.  It is a musical murmur and seems to be caused by a band of tissue inside the heart called a moderator band, a benign condition.

Froggie does not handle change well, and while he is a terrible pest to me, he is quite shy with people he does not know.  He is happy living with Earl and he is welcome to do so for as long as he desires, but we are hoping that someone who really understands cat behavior and the patience needed for a less outgoing cat might be interested in him as a pet.  He will take some time to adjust to a new environment but I believe the end result will be much like his relationship with us here.  Froggie's key is treats.  With patience, and cat treats, Froggie will come out of his shell.

@ 10 weeks

Froggie @ 6 months hanging out with Earl in the boy area.

Neither of these cats are confined to this large enclosure, they are there by choice.

Our boy area is a large, tiled room in a walk out basement with full spectrum lighting and sliding glass doors overlooking our beautiful garden, which is full of nature.  The pen occupies a good part of the room, and Traci's home office occupies a corner as well.
