"Britches" @ 6 months of age
Britches is a silver tabby/white female out of GC Ailurophile ShoelessJoe of Damnynke (retired) and Cary, shown n our "breeding cats" page. She gets her name due to how high the white goes up her back legs - it looks like she's wearing Daisy Dukes. She was born 11/2/07. She is beautiful, smart and very interactive. She's a quirky sort who runs *towards* the vacuum cleaner to find out what the noise is about, while everyone else runs away. We've struggled greatly with our decision to place her as a pet, but in the end, Britches doesn't adjust easily to change - and change is a huge part of being a show cat and living in a home with a breeding program. She will be a great pet for someone, and a stunning example of the breed.

Grand Champion Ailurophile ShoelessJoe of Damnynke
"Bare", short for Barefoot, takes his name from the musical Damn Yankees. He's a lovely brown tabby with white male born August 19, 2006. Bare became a Grand Champion at the tender age of 9 months. His preliminary OFA (hip evaluation) rating is "GOOD" and he was found to be free of HCM April 08. Bare has a rock hard, muscular body that is surprisingly heavy. He is a very stoic boy who was unhappy as a whole male, so he has been retired from our breeding program. Bare is available as a pet to the right home.
Cats and Kittens are available only to approved homes, on a first come, first served basis. Kittens accept visitors beginning around 8 weeks of age. No kitten is reserved without a signed contract and a $200 non-refundable deposit. They are between 12-16 weeks of age before they are old enough to go to their new homes, and have had all appropriate veterinary care for their ages.
